The signs on Interstate 35 at its Clinton County interchange with US 69 indicate that US 69 is the route to Wallace State Park. But when you get off the freeway and go east and south on US 69, Missouri 121 makes its first appearance on this trailblazer. Missouri 121 is the spur route that actually goes into the park. The intersection of Routes 69 and 121 is hidden by the clump of trees to the right of the roadway in this photograph, taken in September 2005.
