"Is this the right exit?"
On US 71 near Goodman in McDonald County, there was a time when you might not be sure of the answer to that question until you were almost at the exit.
The first exit sign (left) shows that Route B is at the next exit. But the follow-up sign (right) shows Route B and Route C. Only Route C actually goes to Goodman itself.
The sign on the right was just north of the partial interchange with Missouri 59 and Business US 71 north of Anderson. The other sign (on the left) was south of the interchange, indicating that it was erected when the section of US 71 at Anderson was opened in 2002. David reports that this sign was replaced in 2003.
