The author of Little House on the Prairie and other books gets a memorial designation on former US 60 (now Route A) just east of Mansfield. There is a Laura Ingalls Wilder Historic Site a few miles east of Mansfield. There's no word on whether Michael Landon also gets a memorial highway near Mansfield.
