This is the inset map for St. Joseph from the 1969 official state highway map. Changes since 1969 include:

• Interstate 229 was completed.
• Missouri 752 along what are shown here as Alabama and Hyde Park Avenues. In addition, the route connects US 59 and Interstate 229 by extending Hyde Park Avenue eastward (known as Mason Road) starting at the route shown on this inset as Route BB.
• Route OO has been decommissioned, replaced by Interstate 229.
• The Kansas route to the airport is Kansas 238. The airport is on the west side of the river, but because the river moved, the airport land is actually in Missouri.
