This is the inset map for West Plains from the 1969 official state highway map. Changes since 1969 include:
- US 63 is an undivided four-lane highway along the west side of West Plains.
- US 160 and Missouri 17 have been re-routed along the north side of West Plains. The route now extends from Route CC, crossing Business US 63, then going north on Concord Drive, and subsequently turning back east on Industrial Drive, eventually joining up with the 1969 alignment at St. Louis Street.
- US 160 is concurrent with US 63 between Route CC on the north and the US 160/US 63 interchange in the southwest corner of West Plains.
- That interchange is now an at-grade intersection with traffic signals.
- Missouri 17 is concurrent with US 63 between Route CC on the north and the 1969 route of Missouri 17 on the east.
- The north intersection of US 63 and Business US 63 is now a grade-separated interchange.
