Busy NM 313 in Bernallio

NM 313, which is the former US 85, crosses US 550 (formerly NM 44) in Bernalillo. This photo was a windshield shot, taken in heavy traffic eastbound. At the next intersection east, US 550 ends at Interstate 25, the modern-day equivalent of US 85. But the route continues eastward as NM 165, as you can see from the directional panel behind the NM 313 marker. Look at the name Placitas.

Also note the use of the double-headed arrow to indicate that NM 313 crosses NM 550 at the intersection.
