Albuquerque's version of a 1920s movie palace is the KiMo Theater at Fifth and Central NW. It was restored to its former glory in 2000. This photo, taken from the southwest corner of the intersection in May 2004, shows the colorful motifs of the building. Even the traffic-light standards have been painted to match!
