Part of the Española Triangle

NM 584 connects the two major highways going through Española: US 84-US 285 on the west and NM 68 on the east. NM 584 forms a straight line along the north of Española between the other highways. If you've missed the turnoff to Taos on NM 68 (which is very easy to miss), NM 584's your last chance to cut over to Taos without going too far out of your way.
