I mentioned in my post about the Zenith Royal 76 that I had AC adapters for both my vintage models. The one for the Royal 76 in the ivory case looks like a modern, molded-plastic adapter. But the one that came with the radio in the charcoal case looks far different: as you can see from the photo, it's a metal box, with a crinkled finish. So I think the charcoal-colored radio is an older model. (Both AC adapters were original to their respective radios.) That's quite an adapter, I'd say!
