Bypass routes, once common in many American cities, are now rarer and rarer. Bypass US 30 still exists in Portland, Oregon, as shown at this intersection with Columbia Boulevard. The odd angle of this photo is the result of taking a quick snapshot out of the passenger window of a car (I was the passenger, not the driver!). I was able to edit this photo to show a closer view in better perspective.
