Alternate US 69 is the current designation of the former route of US 66 from Baxter Springs, Kansas, into Ottawa County, Oklahoma, where the alternate route ends. The alternate route in Oklahoma tends to be marked with cutout markers, rather than the standard square sign blank one might expect.
