The Going to the Sun Road is the only road that goes through the entire width of Glacier National Park in Montana. The road, built in 1932, is a National Historical Landmark as well as a Historic Civil Engineering Landmark. The US 2 trailblazer indicates this junction is at the western end of the park, near Apgar.
