This junction sign on US 30 in Big Springs, Nebraska, also graphically showed that US 138 has one of its endpoints at this intersection. Also included was a trailblazer for Interstate 80, which intersects with US 138 about ten miles southwest of this point. US 138 runs mostly parallel to another interstate route, Interstate 76. US 138 connects Sterling, Colorado and Big Spring, so it's one of the shorter US routes.
