While these photos nicely show the Nebraska state highway marker, the highway they're marking is US 159 rather than Nebraska 159.
The marker above is the first marker that travelers from Missouri see right after they've crossed the Missouri River. The sign assembly to the right is in Falls City. Also note the placement of the JCT sign below the US shield rather than above it.
