Two of the six bridges crossing the Willamette River in downtown Portland, Oregon are shown in this photo, looking south from the west bank of the river. The nearer bridge is the Hawthorne Bridge. The higher bridge, which is also the farther bridge from this point, is the bridge for Interstate 5, which bypasses downtown Portland on the east. It's also known as the Marquam Bridge.
