At US 138's eastern endpoint in Big Springs, Nebraska, this sign points the way to US 138 as well as to Interstate 80. US 138 crosses Interstate 80 ten miles southwest of this intersection. US 138 parallel to another interstate route, Interstate 76. US 138 connects Sterling, Colorado and Big Spring, which makes it a fairly short US route.
