With the opening of a new bypass for US 62 around Flippin, Arkansas in October 2007, some leftover construction markers mistakenly showed US 62 as an Arkansas state route. Even more strange was the use of the abbreviation HWY in the marker for US 62. The US 412 marker is correct.
