Kansas is pointing the way to an Oklahoma turnpike in this scene looking west on Bagdad Rd at US 166/US 400 and K-26 south of Galena. Bagdad Rd functions as a "back door" into Missouri. It's part of the route for US 166 before Interstate 44 came along. From this point, I-44 is just three miles away. Missouri's even closer.
