Caldicott Spillover

When eastbound traffic for California 24 in the Caldecott Tunnel is restricted to two lanes rather than four, the backup often reaches more than three miles, and spills over onto California 13, the Warren Freeway in Oakland.

Aside from the traffic backup, note that all the signs use button reflectors (which can be seen more clearly close-up, and are among the newer signs of that type. The left-hand exit was retrofitted into the interchange years after the rest of it was built.
