Three Symbols, One Message

There's a railroad track as well as a pedestrian crossing across Capitol Mall, along the southern edge of the Old Sacramento district in Sacramento. This sign tries to convey the complex nature of the intersection, but there's a lot to absorb. Perhaps that's why there's also a lighted pedestrian warning sign at this intersection.
