On the left is the California state line on Route 28 in South Lake Tahoe (the only incorporated municipality on the California side of Lake Tahoe); on the right is the Nevada state line at the same intersection, looking toward Stateline, Nevada. For some reason, the Nevada sign says "Lake Tahoe".
