You'd have to know Missouri highway history to know that one of the routes at this interchange with Interstate 70 has a historic distinction. Missouri 98 is one of the few routes from the original 1921 Centennial Road System that has retained its original route number. It extends from Boonville to the Missouri River near Overton.
