On its way into Iowa along US 275 is the Lewis and Clark Trail, an historic route that winds its way through central and northwestern Missouri. Note the square marker, with the smaller digits to fit into the space. Compare it to the the newer, wider marker style that Missouri began using in 2000 for marking three-digit highways.
