Going northbound on Lake Shore Drive just before it ends at Hollywood Avenue, there's an exit for Bryn Mawr Avenue that indicates it's US 14. However, US 14 actually begins four blocks west and four blocks south, on Broadway at Foster Avenue.
If you stay on Bryn Mawr, you will reach US 14 just as it leaves Broadway and goes onto Ridge Avenue in the Edgewater neighborhood.
